Now that you mention it, I cannot think of a novel/book that explores the Jewish identity that is away from WWII. And there is so much to celebrate with that identity! I hope you get the chance to give this a read. It’s definitely a charming story. I actually think the cartoony cover works for the story in this case but yea… 🙂 We got to love the corny book covers.

I have been trying to find more literature that explores my Jewish heritage *away* from WWII. It’s shocking how challenging that can be.
