It’s a tough place to be in and sometimes I feel like I am the only one trying to do the work and sometimes I fail miserably in the work. It reminds me often that the university is a system of oppression in itself even though the education it provides means to be liberating ideally.

I would recommend Sentipensante! I found it very helpful as well as hopeful. 🙂

And bell hooks! Those were the days!! I haven't read the other ones, but number 3 looks especially good. I am happy to be a part of the #DiverseBookBloggers community and appreciate all the support I have found here 🙂 Students start coming back next week which will take a lot of my time. I still plan to be blogging on my M-W-F schedule but it will definitely impact my reading as well as my social media presence. Once the year is in full swing, I will get some more time back.
